The Bushfront Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zambia
 |
 |
...a great bush lodge setting to enjoy the splendors
of Victoria Falls, its wildlife and adventure ....
The Bushfront Lodge is a quaint little bush getaway in Livingstone on
th e
Zambian side of the Victoria Falls.
- conveniently located 6km from the Victoria Falls, 5 minutes from
the Zambezi River & the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park and just 5km
from Livingstone Town
- consists of just 13 thatched chalets and accommodates 26 guests
- offers a personal 'meet & greet' transfers from Livingstone
airport
Upon arrival at the lodge you are welcomed by the friendly staff and
led straight to the pool area for a refreshing drink. Once you are
sufficiently cooled down you are taken to your chalets.
The rooms are big and airy and each chalet is set well apart from the
next – ensuring that extra bit of privacy.
Prepare to fall in love with the showers. Built out of masses of rocks
with a cascading flow of water, these mini Victoria Falls offer a truly
African experience. Needless to say, taking a shower might end up being
the favourite part of the day!
The friendly staff at the lodge are always on hand to offer advice,
assistance or simply a friendly chat. The staff are well trained and
really friendly. They will go out of their way to create a warm and
hospitable environment for guests, and it makes all the difference.
The lodge is very family friendly and the rooms can easily accommodate
three beds - great for families! The dining and bar area is also right
next to the pool, allowing parents to keep an eye on the little ones
while relaxing in the shade.
The grounds are surrounded by dense African woodland with abundant (and
very active) birdlife. Another big plus is the sound of elephants
trumpeting and hippos grunting that can be heard from the lodge. This is
truly Africa.
The lodge has a restaurant that offers great pub-lunch type of meals.
There is also a separate DSTV lounge.

The Livingstone/Victoria Falls area is known as the adventure capital of
the world - making The Bushfront the ideal base for adventure seekers,
sightseers and those looking for something different. Game drives are
very popular and the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park is known for its
abundant wildlife ranging from buffalo, elephants, impala, giraffe and
the endangered white rhino.
The lodge also has a quaint campsite with 3 stands that can accommodate
up to 20 guests.
Whether you're a single backpacker, a family planning a self-drive camping
trip or busy organising an overland group through Africa, you'll find the
Bushfront Lodge
convenient, cost-effective and easy to arrange.....

The key attraction of the area is obviously the mighty Zambezi.
Getting onto the river is a must and with this in mind the Bushfront is
located just 2 minutes drive from the Zambezi Waterfront
(sister lodge) which offers the famous MV Makumbi, a 100-passenger double-decker cruise boat
for river cruises. The MV Makumbi can also cater for private functions
on request. (A second cruiser, Jambesi is available for smaller
parties up to 20 people.) [Find out more about our
