Thorntree Lodge is situated on the northern banks of the Zambezi
River, 15 kilometres upstream from the Victoria Falls.
Wildlife at Thorntree River Lodge
Common sightings within the Mosi-O-Tunya National Park are white
rhino, giraffe, impala, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and a wide variety of
birds.
Accommodation at Thorntree River Lodge
At present the lodge accommodates 18 guests.
· Seven - twin-bedded stone chalets under thatch lodges with ensuite
shower, toilet and hand basin.
· One double lodge with ensuite shower, toilet and hand basin and a
private deck overlooking the Zambezi River.
· One Executive Suite with ensuite bath, toilet and hand basin and
private deck overlooking the Zambezi River.
All lodges have a veranda with deck chairs and a private view of the
river.

· A central lounge / dining area with open sundeck overlooking the
Zambezi River
· Swimming pool and gazebo
Activities at Thorntree River Lodge
- morning and evening river cruises
- game drives into the Mosi-O-Tunya National Park
- fishing (limited rods and tackle are provided)

- visits to the Victoria Falls
- Adventure activities such as white water rafting, canoeing, river
boarding, bungee jumping, micro-lighting and helicopter flights etc.
can be booked whilst staying at Thorntree, but at an extra cost -
prices on request.
