The Lower ZambeziThe Lower Zambezi is relatively remote and offers one of the finest freshwater angling experiences in the world. Fishing is available at both of the SafPar safari camps at Kayila Lodge and Mwambashi River Lodge.
The camp comprises a central open thatch dining area, a plunge pool and five well appointed twin-bed timber and thatch chalets. Each unit has its own en-suite shower and toilet facilities. The area itself is scenically beautiful and is well populated by big game. Over 350 bird species have been recorded in the area. |

Victoria Falls Fishing TripsFrom Victoria Falls, there is a choice of two fishing locations. For those who prefer peace and tranquility, we recommend the flowing upper Zambezi above the Falls. For those seeking one of the most unusual locations in the world we offer trips below the Falls and into the Batoka Gorge. Your fishing guide is also an expert on birding and wildlife, a profusion of which you will see during your excursion. There are no real seasonal variation and fish are caught year round. The very best time for Tiger Fish is during our hot months between August and March when the fish are more active. We generally adopt a catch and release policy for all fish caught. Local taxidermy plus package and freight services are available for trophy specimens. Half and full day trips are available in Victoria Falls and should be booked in advance between August and October, during December and in March and April. Additional information
