ACCOMMODATION
The lodge accommodates 20 guests in:
- Eight twin-bedded canvas under thatch chalets with en-suite
shower, toilet and hand basin. With private decks overlooking virgin
bush
- One Honeymoon chalet with en-suite shower, toilet and hand
basin. Also a private deck overlooking virgin bush
- One Honeymoon chalet with en-suite bath, toilet and hand basin.
With a private deck looking into the African bush
- All chalets have a veranda with deck chairs and a private view
of the bush
WILDLIFE
Common sightings on the estate are kudu, impala, bush buck, buffalo,
elephant, and a wide variety of birds.
MINIMUM AGE LIMITS
Minimum Age : 12 years*

*Children under 12 years old are accepted on request and on condition
that parents are made fully aware that the lodge does have wild animals
roaming around the grounds at various times of the day and night, and
that they will be required to sign an Indemnity Form for each child.
Parents should also be requested to ensure that their children behave
appropriately as there will be other paying guests

ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE FROM MASUWE & VICTORIA FALLS
Most of the activities below are not included unless specified in the
rates below. All additional activities can be purchased prior to
departure or upon arrival. Pre-booking is recommended as activities have
limited availability each day.

Tour
of “Victoria Falls”
- Game walk on Masuwe Estate
- Zambezi sunset cruise
- Morning and evening
game drives into the Chamaponda National Park located along the
north western border of the estate.
- Elephant back safaris
are done on the estate and so are easily accessible.
- Lion Encounter safaris are
operated from the Masuwe Estate and easily accessible
Other adventure activities such as white water rafting, canoeing,
riverboarding, bungi jumping, abseiling, gorge swings and helicopter
flights etc. All can be booked whilst staying at Masuwe but at an extra
cost. Tours to Chobe National Park in Botswana can also be easily
arranged.

N.B. – Please note that
national parks fees are NOT included and are payable direct by
the client. (All fees are subject to change without prior
notice at the discretion of the Zimbabwean Parks Authorities).
- Tour of Victoria Falls - US$20 pp Zambezi National park fee
- Game drives - US$15 pp Chamaponda National Park fee
- Sunset Cruises - US$5 pp river fees
TRANSFERS
Clients can fly into either Livingstone or Victoria Falls International
Airport where they will be met and transferred by road to the lodge
which is situated approximately 20 minutes drive from the Victoria Falls
Airport, including customs and immigration formalities at both border
posts. It is approximately forty minutes from Livingstone Airport.
Clients may also self-drive direct to the lodge, directions are
available on request.
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
- If travelling from Zambia, both Zambian and Zimbabwean customs
and immigration formalities must be cleared.

- Zambian visa for clients entering via Livingstone
airport.
- Return air tickets or vehicle registration particulars – if
required.
- Advise Safari Par Excellence of any dietary requirements or
medical conditions.

travel as they will be able to advise the most up to date and accurate

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Malaria prophylactics, insect repellent and sun block
- Personal toiletries and medical requirements
- Torch / flashlight
- Binoculars, camera, video and film/digital memory cards
