Savanna Lodge Backpackers is situated in Victoria Falls town, only
2km from one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, and of
course the mighty Zambezi River.
ACCOMMODATION
The lodge can accommodate up to 40 guests in the following:
- 8 x twin-bedded rooms
- 3 x double rooms
- 4 x dorm rooms (each dorm has 3 to 5 beds)
- Camping area (up to 40 pax)
- There are 4 ablution facilities centrally situated to all rooms.
- Each of the ablution blocks have toilets, showers, basins and
hot and cold water
WILDLIFE
Victoria Falls is pretty much all within National Parks land and
therefore a wide variety of wildlife can be viewed almost anywhere.
Buffalo, elephant, baboons, warthog, kudu, impala, vervet monkeys and
impala are very common sightings, even in the residential areas. Lions
and leopards have also been occasionally spotted around the town.
The Zambezi National Park is home to numerous other species of wildlife
including giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, crocodiles, hyena, civet cats,
hippo, kingfishers, fish eagles, tawny eagles, grey louries, and so the
list is goes on.

ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE FROM SAVANNA & VICTORIA FALLS
The activities below are not included in the
accommodation rates. All additional activities can be purchased prior to
departure or upon arrival. Pre-booking is recommended as activities have
limited availability each day.
Other adventure activities such as riverboarding, bungi jumping, abseiling, gorge swings and helicopter
flights etc. All can be booked whilst staying at Masuwe but at an extra
cost. Tours to Chobe National Park in Botswana can also be easily
arranged.

N.B. – Please note that
national parks fees are NOT included and are payable direct by
the client. (All fees are subject to change without prior
notice at the discretion of the Zimbabwean Parks Authorities).
- Tour of Victoria Falls - US$20 pp Zambezi National park fee
- Game drives - US$15 pp Chamaponda National Park fee
- Sunset Cruises - US$5 pp river fees
TRANSFERS
Clients can fly into either Livingstone or Victoria Falls International
Airport where they will be met and transferred by road to the lodge
which is situated approximately 20 minutes drive from the Victoria Falls
Airport, including customs and immigration formalities at both border
posts. It is approximately forty minutes from Livingstone Airport.
Clients may also self-drive direct to the lodge, directions are
available on request.

- Zambian visa for clients entering via Livingstone
airport.
- Return air tickets or vehicle registration particulars – if
required.
- Advise Safari Par Excellence of any dietary requirements or
medical conditions.
VISA REQUIREMENTS

advise all clients check with their local embassy/consulate prior to
travel as they will be able to advise the most up to date and accurate

- Warm clothes during cool months
