Victoria Falls - Zambezi River Cruises

The Waterfront operates two cruise vessels from the property - the "MV Makumbi" and the "Jambesi". Both vessels are suitable for private functions and can be booked on an exclusive basis on request.

The cruise is along the river boundary of the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, around Siloka Island and back to The Waterfront jetty.

The total cruise time is approximately 3 hours. Sunset cruises arrive back after sunset. From the boats, sightings or elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There is also abundant, hippos, crocodiles and birdlife.

All cruises have a complimentary bar and serve freshly baked snacks. An experienced guide accompanies each cruise and has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area.

MV Makumbi - maximum 100 pax (double decker)
Jambesi - maximum 20 pax
Breakfast cruise comprises buffet of eggs, bacon, danish pastries, tea, coffee, juice
Lunch/sunset/dinner cruises comprise buffet of pies, sausage rolls, chicken wings, quiches
Seated dinner available on the MV Makumbi on the river - maximum 20; docked at the jetty - maximum 30
Fully stocked bar includes beer, wine, selection of spirits, mixers and soft drinks
Kakunka Island upstream of the Waterfront is accessible to the MV Makumbi and is an ideal lunch spot and special events venue
